Nayoung (Hangul:나영; Katakana:キム・ナヨン, Mandarin: 金那永) is a South Korean singer under Cube Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group LIGHTSUM.

Early Life and Career[]
Nayoung was born as Kim Na-young (Hangul: 김나영) on November 30th, 2002 in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, South Korea. Her family consists of her parents and an older brother.
2018–2019: Produce 48[]
In June 2018, Nayoung became a contestant on the reality survival show Produce 48, where she represented Banana Culture. She was eliminated in the 11th episode and ranked 21st place and was unable to debut with IZ*ONE.[3]
In late 2018, Nayoung was confirmed as a member of Banana Culture's new girl group[4], however their debut was cancelled by Spring 2019, and she had left the company, and signed with Cube Entertainment.
2021: Debut with LIGHTSUM[]
On April 20, 2021, Nayoung was revealed with Huiyeon as the third two members of LIGHTSUM.[5][6] The group made their debut on June 10 with their first single album "Vanilla".
